Evan Levy is a partner and co-founder of Baseline Consulting, a professional services firm concentrating on enterprise data issues. He is an acknowledged expert in the field of data integration and the technology architectures that support it.

Evan has spent his career leading both practitioners and executives in delivering a range of IT solutions. In addition to his executive management responsibilities at Baseline, he regularly oversees high-profile systems integration projects for key clients such as Charles Schwab, Verizon, State of Michigan, and CheckFree. He also advises software vendors—including Oracle, IBM, and BEA Systems—in the areas of product planning, and continues to counsel the executive and investment communities in the use of applying advanced technologies to key business initiatives.

Evan has been published in a wide array of industry magazines and has spoken about a range of technology delivery experiences at leading industry events. In addition to being a featured speaker at vendor events, he has presented at the American Marketing Association (AMA), the CRM Association, and DAMA International. He is a faculty member of The Data Warehousing Institute. His recent presentations have focused on emerging technologies such as Enterprise Application Integration, Enterprise Information Integration, data warehousing, service oriented architectures, XML, and enterprise service buses. He also focuses on the financial payback of IT investments and his recent talk, “Finding the Vein of Pain: Quantifying ROI for IT Initiatives” has resulted in command performances across the U.S., and has spawned a radio interview on Sky Radio.

Evan is co-author of the book, Customer Data Integration: Reaching a Single Version of the Truth, which describes the business breakthroughs achieved with integrated customer data, and explains how to make CDI work The book features case studies from Royal Bank of Canada, Intuit, AARP, Overstock.com, and Amgen, among others.
